38yr old parent with a job here. Just get that out of the way. Looking for other musicians around town who might be at a similar stage of life where time is limited, but still want to play. At the moment a Sunday practice is all I can do but that will change in the future. I am intermediate guitarist looking for other people who like the heavy rock and blues style. I have chops I can def improvise and have good creativity. I consider myself intermediate because I am mostly self taught and I won’t be able to hang with schooled players from a tech standpoint. However I can def play so if your more a beginner we will prob be a mismatch. I play strats through a Marshall and I go for tone. I do have experience playing out in bands and I have performed in front of some good size festivals crowds in the local Heavy Rock scene, and done some light touring. My hope is to start building something and once I have more time be able to record and gig. I’m not trying to make it big obviously just make great music and have some fun. I don’t have much interest in covers beyond one or 2 that we could make our own. Creating new music is what I love to do. If any of this sounds like something you’d be interested in hit me up. I can send some clips of my playing if need be. Guitar, bass, drums, organ, all instruments I’d love to have in the mix. Maybe even a sax eventually haha. Cheers, Mike
