Guitarist, with drummer, seeks other like-minded musicians (M/F) for newly-forming originals band. Looking for 2nd guitarist (lead/rhythm), bass player, keyboards and/or vocalist to add their own creativity to what we're doing. (Vocals are a priority, as former lead vocalist is no longer available.) We'd like to put together an original set of music and play-out locally, then go from there... We welcome others' own original songwriting contributions as well. Open to various genres, but please, no metal (heavy, black, death or otherwise). We are more of an "alternative pop/rock" sound. (Think R.E.M., The Cars, Smiths, Cure, Talking Heads, Bowie, etc.) Early stages, but have a good start on some original tunes. Just started getting together in-person recently. (Fully-vaccinated health care worker.) 40+ age-wise, families/jobs, etc....so, no problems just focusing on the music & creative process. Practice space w/small PA in South Jersey. Once-a-week or so, mostly weekday evenings and maybe some occasional weekend afternoons, if needed. Flexible per any new members schedule. Cheers!
