Sadly, we must find a new family to care for and love Kaya. We can't keep her. If you want an amazing dog that is already house broken and won't chew everything in your house (she already did that to our house as a puppy), she might be the perfect dog. She is 2 1/2. Her Dad is a 3rd generation Labradoodle. Her Mom is full blood poodle. She is extremely sweet and playful. She has been raised around MANY children. She politely waits for the cats to eat or drink, if they go before her. She loves stuffed animals and dog toys. She has never slept outside. She has been an inside dog her whole life. She usually likes to sleep in her large kennel or on her pillow in front of the fire. She doesn't get on the furniture. She loves being in the room with her family. She loves going outside and running with the kids. She stays with them even when hiking through the woods. She comes when we call. We haven't really tried to train her, but what we have taught she learned quickly. There are a few things she learned without us even trying to teach. She has mostly been a playmate for the kids. She is not aggressive, but will do a low growl or gruff if there is a noise outside that she doesn't like. She loves people, but takes a little while to get to know new people. After she knows you, she gets very excited when you come visit. She doesn't really shed, but her hair does grow long. She has to be groomed regularly or her hair will tangle. If you choose to let her hair grow, she has to be brushed, otherwise she can be clipped. The hair must be removed from her ears or she will get ear infections. She has been our favorite dog of all time. She is exceptional. Finding her a new home is not an easy decision. We want to make sure that she goes to a loving family. Rehoming fee will apply.
