In the midst of a pandemic meeting people and breaking into a scene has been difficult and am fairly busy. I have a few friends here I occasionally hang with whom are on fairly sizable labels, but they are not super social and would love to expand my friend group and maybe have it lead to a collaboration. Most of my production is based in Ableton. I'm fairly knowledgable about synthesis and play a few other instruments like Sax, Guitar and a little Piano. Not super technical but I excel at musical aesthetics and mood. I dabble in a few genres and am fairly experimental. My musical center of mass is based around ambient, jungle, techno, krautrock, jazz, and hip hop. I have pretty deep taste and am music digger at heart. I listen Some other recognizable artists I like include Mobb Deep, J Dilla, Freddie Gibbs, Triple Six Mafia, Moodymann, Visible Cloaks, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Terry Riley, Alice Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, Arthur Verocai, Iceage, Can, Amon Duul, Burial, Also regular listener & reader of NTS live and factmag. Other interests include photography, criterion collection films, critical theory, cooking, gardening, and computer scienc.
