Description
Did you have a band in the eighties that recorded a demo tape, or do you have a tape of a memorable performance or practice? I can digitize your old audio cassette or reel to reel tapes and give you the files on CD (Yes, I can still burn those!) or USB thumb drive.
Maybe you have a digital recording of a live performance you would like to use as a demo, but you find the board send to be dry and lifeless, or the microphone feed to lack lack low end or seem way out of balance. I can run these through several mastering suites and often make your live recording sound full and comparable to what you hear on the radio. I can't fix bad musicianship, but I can make a good band sound great! If you are trying to book gigs, a live recording is much more convincing than a studio recording. Most bands can sound good in the studio, so show them how you will really sound if they hire you, and how the crowd responds.
I have a home based recording studio and I can not only convert your old tapes, which are deteriorating by the year, to digital, but I can also significantly reduce tape hiss, often remove glitches, such as stopping and restarting the tape, and other audio issues. I also have a full mastering setup, which can bring your music alive as if you had sent your tape to a record label to prep for airplay and distribution.
I can send MP3 samples of before and after to show you my work. Let me help preserve those memories, or let me bring that live recording of your band to its fullest potential.
My number is a Texas number, but that is my cell. I live in Port Angeles and I am real.
