I like progressive rock and metal, specifically nerdy concept albums with a lot of emotion. I am a guitarist, have been playing for over 20 years. Melodic Deathmetal/Deathcore-American Black metal were my specialties in my twenties. Im looking for something less aggro and more progressive musicianship driven. Albums that tell stories. I am a song writer, used to write fantasy stories. A good friend of mine is developing a graphic novel and wants a band to dedicate an album to his first volume of six issues. Hes hoping for more in the future. influences for this project: Opeth, Dream Theater, Leprous, Nevermore, Coheed and Cambria, to name a few. This is from the ground up.
