Busy Automotive Maintenance Shop specializing in light duty pick-up trucks is currently seeking to fill an open position for shop foreman/lead auto mechanic.
Looking for a problem solver with specialized skills in inspecting. diagnosing, repairing and replacing mechanical vehicle components.Must be familiar with welding. Knowing the ins and out for all kids of machinery is a huge plus to get this position.
The right candidate must be a leader and a team player, able to work on their own, delegate work to others, and check the teams progress and performance. Must be able to test drive incoming cars, verify and uncover concerns regarding a vehicle, and efficiently repair them.
The right candidate must be able to perform routine maintenance, use diagnostic equipment, possess skills and knowledge to perform work on heating and A/C systems minor and major repair work on suspension, driveline, brakes, electrical components, exhaust and emission system of the vehicle.
Salary is highly competitive and depends on verifiable previous experience. Must be able to work 40+ hours a week. Overtime is available. Company benefits include paid vacation, paid sick, and personal days after one year on the job.
