A fun, low key, laid back reunion for the Norco High School class of 1985. UPDATED 8/10/2020: We are postponing the reunion until the spring of 2021. There is a default date is currently set, but the actual date has not yet been determined. UPDATED 6/5/2020: Due to the unforeseen, crazy circumstances that have been going on, we will be rescheduling the reunion.  The new reunion date is September 12, 2020 and NOT in July. ************************************************ The Norco High Class of 1985 is holding their 35 year reunion in The Fieldhouse Courtyard at Silverlakes in Norco in the spring of 2021.   Please join us for a fun-filled evening, reconnecting with your fellow Cougars! We're going a bit more casual than previous reunions: a Mexican food buffet, lawn games, drinks and plenty of time for conversation and connection!   FAQs You rescheduled the original July date to a date in September, and now you're moving it again? When is the new date? We don't have a set date yet. When initially planning for the reunion, we did not even dream of having to account for a pandemic, nationwide lock-down, or anything else that 2020 has thrown at us.  The venue is dealing with shifting city and county restrictions about larger gatherings of people and are hopeful there will be more normalcy and predictability if we wait until spring. We also want to be respectful of classmates who may not be comfortable attending an event in September, but will be more comfortable in a few months.  What are the venue's safety precautions? Our understanding is that the venue's staff will be wearing masks and taking all other food service precautions. Our event will be outside, in fresh air.  The venue will be adhering to whatever requirements and precautions are necessary. What does the ticket price cover? The cost of the space, the service staff & gratuities, dinner, dessert, parking, and lawn games. A cash bar to purchase drinks is available. What's with the lawn games? Feedback from previous reunions indicated that most people thought the music was too loud and there wasn't enough opportunity for conversation. While we will have music playing, it will not be at a high volume, and the lawn games are fun ice-breakers.    So there's no dancing? There's no dedicated dance floor, but we can't stop you from creating your own dance space and moving your body to the ambient music that will be playing in the background. After all, this isn't the town from Footloose. What should I wear? This is a more like a nice BBQ than a typical reunion, so more casual attire is fine.   Is this inside or outside? It's an outdoor event, held in a private courtyard adjacent to The Fieldhouse restaurant. We aren't anticipating any chilly weather (In September. In Norco.) but heaters can be brought in if necessary. Consider bringing a light sweater or jacket if you are easily chilled. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. We will have a master list at the door. Can I buy a ticket at the door? We aren't going to turn you away, but we'd really appreciate if you purchase your tickets prior to September 1st. The venue needs a guest count so they can plan for food and for staffing of our event. Last minute ticket purchase at the door may mean that you don't get dinner, and we'd hate to see that... because, tacos. How did you determine these ticket prices? We carefully calculated the costs associated with the event and determined the ticket prices based on covering those costs. We want this event to be affordable and fun for everyone! I bought my ticket when the reunion was going to be held in July, but now I can't go. What are my options? We certainly hope that everyone who has already purchased a July ticket will be able to attend the new September 12 date.  If you are unable to attend, your tickets are transferrable, but you can also get a refund up to September 1, less any EventBrite fees. What's the refund policy? No refunds after September 1, 2020. EventBrite service fees are non-refundable. Is my ticket transferrable? Yes.
