Hello, I am in need of rehoming a 1 year old cat I found in my garage over New Years. I have been taking care of him since I found him. I have not been able to locate an owner. He is a very, very shy and timid cat. I would keep him, but he needs to be the only animal in the household because he is so shy, and we already have 4 animals. He is not aggressive and has never tried to bite. He does not like to be picked up or held whatsoever. He is very quiet and is not vocal. He will require a very low noise household. He likes to be pet and scratched under his neck and loves tuna packet treats. He is really good company and is very comforting. I enjoy him very much! When I found him, I had him treated for urinary tract infection-UTI (which has since been cleared). I also got him neutered, tested for FIV and all infectious diseases, up to date on vaccines and had blood work done. His results all came back cleared! He is Very low energy and likes to stay in one spot all day. He does not like to play whatsoever. He is litter box trained and eats a special diet to prevent further UTIs. He will not need to be on the special diet forever, just until his stress level is lowered and maintained. In rehoming him, I am including his bowls, blankets, his litter box, his food and some treats. I want to make the transition as easy as possible. Adopter MUST not have any other animals, otherwise the stress of other animals will induce more UTIs and health concerns. I am not charging a fee for him, I just want to find a nice loving home where he will be the center of attention.
