Singer/lyricist/songwriter wanted by guitarist/songwriter to work on ideas for an original project. The first step is to collaborate and make these pcs of songs complete to then record and possible play out. The music does not necessarily sound like these bands but I have been influenced by Bowie, Crowded House, Beatles, Sting, mid to later years John Mayer, XTC among many others. There is no use calling unless you are into all of these bands as the goal is to mix it up with various styles in a rock/pop format. I have a drummer that can put down a great groove for the melodies. I need someone to help develop the song ideas and lyrics and make them complete. There are some rock/pop/new wave/funk/reggae influences. If you are not open to all of these kinds of music then this project is not for you. This is not blues, country or metal rock.
