GROTON, CT — Bluff Point State Park in Groton is closed Sunday afternoon due to a reported fire, the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said. State officials said the park is closed due to a fire within the park. The Groton Fire Department responded and DEEP Forestry Division assistance was initially requested, but the local fire department was able to extinguish the fire. The park remains closed.
