This is a full-time, Monday- Friday position from 7am- 3:30pm. Pay will depend on experience but ranges from $12.00- $14.00/ hour. The Porter is involved the upkeep of the property to enhance and maintain its curb appeal. The Porter assists the rest of the team, as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner.  Your next great role begins here. What success looks like • Develop own skill base in line with agreed appraisal, taking responsibility for increased performance, and ensuring continued self-improvement • Participate and embrace the development opportunities within group With whom you’ll be working, collaborating, and influencing • Support the facilities services team • Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required What you’ll be doing   • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming   • Gather and empty trash • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees • Service, clean, or supply restrooms • Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment   Who you are Skills and Experience Must understand the following: • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times • Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do • Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions  • Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems  Work Environment   Outdoors (66% to 100% of the time), all conditions, often for extended periods of time.  Occasional exposure (1% to 33% of time) to paint fumes, solvents, adhesives, etc. Frequent need (33% to 66% of the time) to work in awkward and confining positions.     Who we are ISS is a global workplace experience and facility management company with over 500,000 employees throughout 52 countries.
