We will be weeding and preparing for the planting of native pollinator beds (at a later date) Pop in and pull some weeds with Keep Nassau Beautiful! These are the very first steps towards the Planting Flowering Natives project on Simmons Road, Amelia Island. Volunteers are needed to help weed and clean along Amelia River to Sea Trail. This Nassau County project is located near the intersection of Simmons Road and Ocean Ridge Drive. Look for the KNB Volunteer Flags on event days! Supplies will be available and volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves, mask, hand trowel or small shovel, and a reusable water bottle.
