Garvey Hyundai has an immediate opening for a maintenance person. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment in our shop and dealership grounds. Duties include but are not limited to:
Removal of trash, scrap tires, batteries, cardboard, scrap metal
Cleaning restroom and breakroom
Restocking and maintaining supplies
Wiping down walls, computers, doors, etc.
Cleaning, organizing, and repairing tools
Cleaning floors weekly with a power scrubber
Snow removal
Minor mechanical repairs
Assisting with customer shuttle rides
This position requires:
A NYS driver's license and the ability to drive a standard transmission
The ability to lift 50 lbs. safely
Basic mechanical skills such as replacing an outlet, repairing a toilet, changing light bulbs, painting, etc.
Ability to work on a ladder as necessary.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
This is a full time position with a work schedule of Tuesday-Saturday. Benefits are available including Medical, Dental, Vision. Uniforms are provided. We offer employee discounts and an Employer Matched 401K (Free $$).
