Casella Construction Inc is seeking experience Skilled Pipe Layers for our jobsites in Bennington, VT for our up-coming 2021 Season (April start) If you enjoy working as part of a friendly and competitive team, take a sense of accomplishment from a job well done, enjoy spending your day outside, you may be a great fit for our team. Responsibilities: Install water structures and pipe systems to residential homes. Layout pipe routes, following specifications or blueprints and coordinating with Supervisor Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction Connect pipe pieces and seal joints with glue or plastic welding Check slopes for conformance to requirements using level or lasers. Tap and drill holes into pipes where needed to add auxiliary lines Cover pipes with earth or other materials Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: 1+ years’ experience with water pipe laying preferred. 5+ years’ experience with heavy civil construction site work Ability to read plans. Ability to implement safe work practices and stay alert to changing work conditions. Ability and desire to work outdoors in all weather in a physically demanding position 50+ hours per week. Desire to learn, improve, and succeed. Strong team player with positive attitude.
