I can help! My names Maxwell, I’ve been playing music full time in New Orleans for the past 6 years. Just moved back to Santa Cruz, and seeking to share all I’ve learned! Specializing in traditional jazz, Italian mandolin music,ragtime and early blues music, I can help you develop the skills you need to better understand the mandolin or tenor banjo. I am now accepting students of all musical levels! I teach exclusively by ear with the aid of old recordings. No need to know how to read music or tab.
