Join us for Ophelia Friends & Fare! Le Paon Restaurant offers fine contemporary French dining with old-world elegance. We have partnered with some of the valley’s most popular restaurants in support of Ophelia Project (a program of John F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation) to safely raise funds for Ophelia Project mentoring teen girls in 19 schools, across 3 valley school districts. Your donation comes with a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting, while you contribute to our mission. Each week, from March 23th through April 29th, we will feature one restaurant. You will have a choice of which seating (or both) at each restaurant. Both seatings at each restaurant offer a specially designed menu for Ophelia Project supporters. If you are not able to join us at the restaurant, you will have the option to order the meal to-go and pick it up at the venue during your seating time. The Ophelia Project’s mission of “Empowering young teens to increase their sense of self-worth and maximize their potential contribution to society,” has had a tangible impact on our community. One hundred percent of the girls in Ophelia Project graduate high school, most of them moving on to higher education at colleges and universities across the nation. This award-winning, 4-star restaurant has been owned and staffed in Palm Desert by the renowned Babai brothers for 40 years. Executive Chef Eddie Babai was trained in classical cooking at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris followed by the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. General Manager and Maitre d' Antoine Babai was twice nominated Restauranteur of the Year Award by the California Restaurant Writers Association. We are honored to celebrate our 40th anniversary of giving service to our community as a locally-owned restaurant this year and hope for many more!
