Press release from the City of Mission Viejo: March 19, 2021 La Paz Road at the I-5 will be fully closed weeknights from 11 pm to 5 am beginning Monday, March 22 and lasting through Friday, April 2, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). Closures, which are weather permitting, are necessary to remove temporary structures for the new northbound I-5 loop on-ramp bridge over La Paz Road. Motorists should expect delays and avoid the area if possible. The work is part of the I-5 South County Improvement Project. For more information, call 949-614-0202.
