Stew will require a home that has dog experience and understands the needs of a dog who is nervous initially and who needs time to adjust to strangers. Stew will thrive in a home that is dog savvy. He takes his cues from those around him. If they are confident then he blossoms. If there are children in the home they need to be 12 and older.
