NRA (CRSO) Chief Range Safety Officer Class Apple Valley Gun Club members use the gate code for your discount The goal of this course is to develop NRA Certified CRSO’s; Chief Range Safety Officers who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to instruct, train and supervise NRA RSO’s; Range Safety Officers and to provide the essential information required to develop Range Standard Operating Procedures. At successful completion of this course you will be certified to teach the NRA Range Safety Officer Course. Prerequisites: You must be an NRA RSO - Range Safety Officer There is a Range Safety Officer Class offered 6/19/2021 at 8AM - 5:30 PM You can register at www.HighDesertFirearmTraining.Eventbrite.com You must have completed a BIT-Basic Instructor Class in the previous 2 years A BIT class is available either 5/28/2021 OR 6/4/2021 You can register at www.HighDesertFirearmTraining.Eventbrite.com Required Materials: Bring an empty 3-ring binder, highlighter, and a notepad and your book you received when you took the NRA RSO class. This course is completed entirely in the classroom while learning the knowledge and skills needed to teach the NRA RSO; Range Safety Officer Course. Role-playing is a major part of an instructor course. Candidates take turns working in teams conducting portions of the course to other candidates who portray basic students. Instructor candidates will receive the NRA CRSO; Chief Range Safety Officer Instructor’s Manual and other instructor materials. Questions???
