Our hardworking crew provides precise grading and prep work so the base and asphalt is both firm and durable. We have an open position for a reliable, skilled general laborer. We are looking for a self-motivated hard working individual willing to work long hours to join our team! Construction experience is helpful but not mandatory, will train the right person. A valid driver’s license and a health card is a must. We offer competitive wages with daily overtime pay.

Job requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
• Use equipment and tools properly and safely
• Flexibility to work long hours
Duties include but not limited to:
• Primarily laboring on the paving crew installing new driveways
• Labor on asphalt crew includes shoveling, sweeping, asphalt raking and compaction
• Discuss schedule and equipment needed for the day with your crew
• Perform daily safety checks of equipment
• Make sure all equipment and tools are ready to be used for the day
• Responsible for driving and maintaining the tool truck
• Keep tool truck stocked with supplies
• Fueling truck and small equipment daily
• Load and unload equipment, with proper chain-downs
• Setting up for job
• Discuss with project manager and foreman any issues on jobsite
• Report any vehicle or equipment repairs or maintenance
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment
• Keep all company vehicles, equipment and tools clean and orderly
• Run for supplies when needed
• Regular attendance at assigned times is required
