We have open positions for local Class A Truck Drivers. We’re looking for safe and courteous drivers with experience to join our team! Must have a valid Class A license and a clean driving record. Applicants will also be expected to help on the paving crew installing new driveways. This is not just a driving job! Benefits: • Health Insurance • Daily overtime pay • Retirement plan with company matching contributions • Bonuses • Off-Season training Job requirements: • Valid class A driver’s license • Clean driving record • Work in all weather conditions • Must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions Duties include but not limited to: • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures • Perform daily pre/post trip inspections; check fluid levels, tires, lights and other controls for safe operation • Keeps accurate log of deliveries and complete required paperwork for billing • Load and unload equipment or materials • Monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle • Operate truck tarp to cover/uncover loads when required • Assure product quality to the best of the driver’s ability • Assist the paving crew as needed. • Labor on the crew includes but not limited to shoveling, sweeping, asphalt racking and compacting. • Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment • Report any vehicle/equipment maintenance or repairs needed to mechanic on duty • Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions • Must keep vehicle clean and orderly • Regular attendance at assigned times is required • Other duties may be assigned
