This position is both hands-on in the field and also spends some time in the office. Desired job requirements, but will train the right person: -Love your job and have fun doing it! -Professional horticultural and gardening experience -Experience designing and installing creative and unique seasonal containers -Maintain existing clients & develop new business -Be flexible doing hands-on work; pruning, flower maintenance, planting, watering, small landscape installations, mulching, deadheading, composting, weeding, etc... -Must have valid MN driver’s license, free of any major infractions, (vehicle use provided at work) -Strong plant identification -Professional affiliations and training a plus: (CNLP, Master Gardener, Horticulture Degree, Certified Applicator, etc.) -Knowledge of sustainable gardening practices and non-chemical alternatives -Office/clerical systems organization experience -Must be able to read scaled designs -Good communication skills, written and oral, with a motivated personality. Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
