Looking for a detail oriented people person to work our daytime public hours as a greeter & ticketing cashier for our Meditation & 360 Degree Rock & Roll Light Show Experience at the International Church of Cannabis. Learn more about us at: www.elevationists.org This role will also be trained to work private evening events in various capacities, Check-in and Age Verification, Setup/Breakdown/Furniture Moving & Cleaning, and Giftshop Cashier/Sales. The stunning murals from street artists Okuda San Miguel & Kenny Scharf along with the eclectic decor and artworks filling the church have made it a Must-See Tourist destination in Denver. Tickets to The Beyond Light Experience fund our non-profit church that additionally holds private events, members only community nights, and non-dogmatic alternative and inclusive church services in the non-covid era. JOB DUTIES: Greet Visitors * Handle Ticket Payments via Square * Make change and keep track of cash * Convert on-the-fence drop-ins to get tickets quickly and efficiently * Answer basic questions about the Art, History, Church Ethos/Philosophy, Activities & Membership requirements. * Opening & Closing cleaning duties including, garbage emptying, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning/upkeep. * Accurate Cash Drawer Management * Inventory counts, restocking shelves and item updates in Square * Furniture Movement & Arrangement for Events * Moving heavy boxes of water/drinks and restocking them * Potential for growth into shift lead role for right person. * Potential for ancillary hours and growth if your skills fit for online marketing, social media, video production, yoga & meditation, event coordination, art classes etc. that may begin this summer. REQUIREMENTS: * 21 Years of age or older * Legally able to work in the US * Comfort & Confidence around Public Speaking * Ability to memorize and internalize information, history, anecdotes * Ability to take direction and follow various greeting protocols/scripts. * Fluent Spoken English and high regard for word choice nuances. * Punctuality and Reliable Transportation * Attention to Small Details * Enthusiasm to learn and Advance * Personal connection to our mission is a plus * Ability to move furniture, carry heavy boxes & re-arrange inventory * Positive Can-do attitude around all duties CURRENT AVAILABLE SHIFTS: M-Thursday 3:30PM - 8:30PM Fri-Sunday - 11:30PM - 8:30PM Also we will likely have sporadic privately booked evening events by this summer when covid numbers decline and capacity restrictions loosen.
