Description
We are a custom screen printing shop and decorated apparel company searching for new members of our team! We will begin trial days and working interviews ASAP We specialize in decorated apparel- which in our shop, majority is screen printing t-shirts and other apparel on an automatic and manual printing press. We also manufacture masks from start to finish, offer embroidery and sewing, sublimation, and Direct to Garment printing. We do it all! We pride ourselves to keep a clean and friendly work environment. We are looking for a few new members to be included in this family of hard working and dedicated individuals. Experience is preferred, but will train the right person! -------- SHIPPING/RECEIVING/PACKING We need help with "Catching" shirts off of the dryer belt while packaging them in boxes for shipment, unpacking and counting shirts ready for printing, shipping/receiving duties, major quality control for shirts coming off the belt. This position is the last line of defense before the product goes to the customers. Every item is to be inspected thoroughly. -------- DARKROOM/SCREEN CARE/RECLAIM Looking for someone to work in our darkroom and manage our screens. You will be removing ink from screens, reclaiming, coating and managing inventory for the darkroom. The screens are very delicate, and we take excellent care of them to ensure they are not damaged. This position is a little more secluded and not on the production floor, so an ideal candidate is someone who doesn't mind being alone for periods of time, but can also communicate and work well with others when needed. ---------- PRESS ASSISTANT: We need a right hand person( and maybe eventually to become THE PERSON ) to help our Press Operator set up and complete jobs on the automatic screen printing press. This involves inspecting and unloading finished product from the machine, setting up and breaking down jobs, following strict procedure and protocol, taking notes and following past instructions for how to set up jobs. Trouble shooting and being interested in learning new things everyday is a huge part of this position, and also our most fast paced area of work. --------- SHOP HAND: Our jack of all trades, sweeper, multi-tasking position is extremely important to us. Catching sublimated jerseys one minute then cleaning ink out of screens or counting shirts the next minute. This is perfect for those who thrive when multiple tasks and goals are given to them. Organizational skills, level-headedness, and attention to detail rule the roost with this position. All positions require: *Maximum attention to detail, good eyesight (it's very dark in the darkroom and very bright on the production floor) *Standing and bending for long periods of time on concrete floors ~8 hours at a time *Lifting and moving ~50lbs at a time *Fantastic Heat/Humidity tolerance (it gets pretty hot and humid all year aside from winter- you will sweat your butt off!) *Good hearing, listening and communication skills - the machines do make noise, so you must be able to speak cleary and loudly and be able to hear other people in the warehouse *Understand and speak English *Capable to work quickly and efficiently, time is the name of the game in our shop, so we need someone who knows how to hustle. *Able to get to work on time and show up to your shift. Call outs and tardiness are not acceptable. We need to be able to count on everyone! Must have reliable transportation - shop is located in Glen Burnie near the Cromwell light rail station. Looking for someone who wants to get the job done and can take the heat. If you have any questions, or you're interested in coming in for a trial day (this allows us and yourself to feel it out and see if you're a good fit for the shop) please reply to this ad with information including: 1- Name 2- D.O.B 3- Experience/Interest/Resume or job history 4- Contact Information 5- Salary requirements/expectations 6- And tell us a little bit about yourself!
