Schuman Construction is looking for experienced carpenters/ framers. We build custom homes in the Richmond Hill/ Chatham/Effingham areas. Our business is picking up so we are in need of laborers, but also those who are experienced in leading crews. We also do remodeling and renovations, as well as trim work. We go where the work is. We need people who have a drive to work everyday and who have the willingness to learn. There is opportunity to move up in the business for those who have that drive to do so. -must have the ability/ willingness to get 'on top' (roofs / scaffolding) -must have own transportation (or the ability to get to one of the local ride-shares) -must have own tools (tool belt, measuring tape, hammer, etc; main tools such as nail guns are provided by company) -must have the ability to work 8 - 10 hour shifts; Monday- Friday, and most Saturdays (it is rare, but we do occasionally work on Sunday.) -basic knowledge of construction / framing -Reliable and dependable The housing industry is picking up and we are in the middle of it!
