National warehouse storage company is now hiring Forklift Operators *Must be able to work in extreme cold environment* REQUIREMENTS OF HIGH REACH /FORKLIFT OPERATOR - 6 months production or manufacturing experience or training. -Must have basic Math skills • Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by company. • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed • Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud - Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management. - Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. - Continually meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect and willingness to help and support others. - Treat all team members with a respect while demonstrating positive work attitude and leadership skills. -Take initiative to continually improve performance and work processes through feedback, problem solving and generating new ideas. RESPONSIBILITIES OF HIGH REACH/ FORKLIFT OPERATOR - • Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height • Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment • Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system • Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device • Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet • Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station - Complies with all Good Manufacturing Practice and plant safety rules and regulations. - Carries out additional duties as required or requested by supervisory or management staff. - Work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks safely, effectively and efficiently. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee will frequently work around food processing machinery. conveyor belts, and hydraulic mechanical equipment. SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF HIGH REACH/FORKLIFT OPERATOR Day Shift Wednesday-Saturday -3:00 am -2:00 pm Mid-Day Shift -1:00 pm-11:00 pm or Tuesday-Saturday 6:30 pm-2:00 am -$13.75-$15.00 per hour(high reach) Must wear steeled toe boots, pants and any shirt is fine (no offensive language) Safety vest are provided For immediate consideration- visit us at: Resource is an Equal Opportunity Employer EEO AA M/F/Vet/Disability and a drug free workplace.
