re Gas prices

Description

About the only thing we learned from your post is that reaching the age of 70 does not necessarily make you more intelligent. The price of crude is almost always the determining factor in the rise of gas prices. Having a couple of refineries shut down for a couple of days had nothing to do with gas prices since refineries keep a surplus of refined gas on hand in case of a breakdown or a ''snow storm" You seem to believe that gas prices going up before the storm was caused by the storm. Your claim that the Texas electrical grid was poorly maintained is repeating liberal nonsense from those who believe that the federal government should be in control of all necessities of life. Texas is well aware of the fact that having the federal government control anything is a guarantee for failure. Bureaucrats in Washington DC telling citizens what is best for them has never worked and will never work.
