Description

Inquisitive "tortie point" siamese Opal and her sweet medium haired orange-and-white sister Carnelian (are you sensing a theme here? We named this litter after semi-precious stones!) are looking for their forever homes ♡ Both are seven months old. Opal loves chin scratches so much that she'll lean into your hand to the point of flopping over on her side, and miss Carnelian purrs like a motorboat the second you touch her! Both girls are good with other cats and children as young as 7, but have never been exposed to dogs. They love to play, but are quite calm for their age! Neither have a history of furniture scratching or messing outside of the litterbox, and when it's time for bed or time to cozy up on the couch for a movie, they want nothing more than to lay with you! These two bonded girls are both spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and sweet as pie! They have been on a grain-free diet since their arrival at the rescue. Unfortunately, as they were rescued as 3-week old babies from a feral colony in Paso Robles, they are positive for Feline Leukemia Virus, which they inherited from their mother. "FeLV", while contagious, is not a death sentence, and many FeLV+ cats live happy lives! Although the virus can shorten their lifespans. These girls are available with a waived adoption, fee on the basis they be adopted together, into a home with no other cats or only other FeLV+ cats, and be strictly indoor animals (to reduce chances of transmission). To fill out an adoption application, or for photos/videos/additional questions, please message Vicki's Village Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (link to email in "reply") and ask for Shayla ♡
