Meet the Alaska Zoo's polar bear Cranbeary up close with a zookeeper! Encounter includes training, enrichment and more. Go into full polar bear discovery mode as you meet Cranbeary the polar bear up close with zookeepers in the den building! Reserve a date for this encounter, an exciting one-hour behind-the-scenes experience with a truly iconic Arctic species. Participants will observe training and feeding along with helping zookeepers with their morning Cranbeary duties and enrichment in her habitat before she is let out into the main area. You will hear personal zookeeping stories and have a chance to take some great photos, too! Encounter rates are $285 each plus service fees. This encounter is available on Sunday mornings at 9am. Participants should arrive at the zoo entrance no later than 8:45am to meet a zookeeper. Each encounter is one hour and advance registration (a minimum of 48 hours in advance) is required. The encounter rate allows you and three invited guests to participate. Masks are required to be worn at all times by participants. Encounter participants must be age 9 and older.
