Welcome to our bi-weekly wine tasting event! This week we'll be exploring a variety of natural wines with Vintage Wine Rep Maggie Harrison.
Natural Wines have been all of the buzz in the wine world for some time now! Whether it be for health benefits, environmental consciousness or just for the taste, people are falling in love with the natural method of wine making.
But what is “natural wine”? What separates “natural” from organic? These are all important questions to ask when exploring this sector of the wine world.
As well as discussing the families and stories behind each wine we’ll be tasting, Maggie will also enlighten us of the differences between each of the “green” categories- organic, biodynamic, sustainable, natural as well as touching some emerging practices.
Maggie Harrison is a highly knowledgeable and creative Wine Sales professional with a comprehensive background in both domestic and European regions. A certified wine specialist, Maggie’s career spans 25 years in the food and beverage industry. We’re so excited to have her host with us!
