Am Not looking for (insert genre here) band. Am looking for a band that has the guts to play any good song, regardless of genre. Solid 5 string bass player with light keyboard skills looking for hard-working, busy band. Do my homework. I do my best to sound just like the original recording. Mainly a bass player, but can cover keyboard (then switch to bass) on tunes like Journey's "Who's Crying Now", or Justin Timberlake "Can't Stop The Feeling". I can't cover keys on everything, but if it's simple I can usually grab it. Interested in finding others who treat it seriously and do their best. Able to tour if pay is good for that scenario. Was an audio engineer for many years and carry those useful skills with me. Also have my own line of bass cabs. I'd like to meet a band that has good material for a dinner-type set, then great dance music to keep the crowd there for the rest of the night. Throw in some rockers, country, yacht-rock,...tell a joke, have some fun! I don't care if it's Dua Lipa or Led Zepp. If the audience is having fun, so am I. After covid I'm looking to average at least one gig a week. Bars, clubs, weddings, etc... Thank you for reading!
