Waves Logistics is seeking an OTR Company Drivers- NO CDL to join our growing team! You will be responsible for safely operating a company own cargo van and ensuring timely delivery of freight to customers. We are hiring two drivers over the next 30 days, partner drivers are welcome to apply! THIS JOB WILL BEGIN ASAP! NOTE: This is an "Over the Road" position with the weekly pay depending on location and the number of completed deliveries. Candidate Drivers should be experienced with GPS and able to be away from home two weeks at a time. Responsibilities of Driver: • Drive a company provided cargo van safely • Deliver freight to customers in a safe, timely & professional manner • Ability to maintain a consistent chain of communication • Take van to wash locations or maintenance appointment when necessary • No touch freight • Keep documentation related to the delivery, gas and maintenance Qualifications: • Must have a valid driver's license • Enhanced license, Passport or willingness to obtain preferred • Must be over 21 • Ability to complete deliveries with the capacity to consecutively drive 10+ hours • Ability to be away from home while working • Excellent communication skills • Strong work ethic • High School Diploma or GED • Clean driving record, no moving violations within the last year Experience: • Must be comfortable driving a company cargo van • No Prior OTR experience required, but recommended • Living and/or working remotely welcomed Compensation: • Location and availability will determine the weekly pay amount. We have experienced drivers to earn $600.00 + weekly • 60% of the load cost will be awarded to the driver, with the responsibility of gas and toll, company will handle maintenance of vehicles • Contracted position, will receive 1099 Work Location: Over the road, but will begin and end with the truck location in Metro Detroit Area, Michigan Interested drivers can send resume with title "OTR Cargo Driver Application" Be sure that resume includes information about driving experience and contact information.
