Pavestone LLC is a manufacturer of paver and wall concrete products for commercial, residential, contractor, industrial, and retail customers. We have been in Denver for over 20 years and are a part of the Quikrete Companies. This position pays $16.00 per hour. We currently have one day shift forklift position available. 6:30 am to 3:00 pm A pre-employment drug screen will be required after job offer. We are willing to train the right candidates. Job Description (primary responsibilities): -Utilize a forklift to move product from the plant to inventory stocking in the yard. -Flatbed side-loading experience highly desired. -Perform general material handling. -Perform general labor as needed. -Tasks will include sweeping, shoveling, chiseling, and product stacking. -Re-stack pallets as necessary. -Climbing on and off of fork-lift. -Label finished pallets with stickers. -Operate shrink wrap machine. -Work outside in all kinds of weather. Accountabilities: The employee will perform various material-handling functions as required on an as needed basis throughout the shift. Tasks will be set according to daily production and will be monitored by the shift supervisor. Standards of measure are as follows: --Product will be stacked in the yard neatly and undamaged according to locally established standards. --The employee's shift inspections will be accurate and will call out any equipment problems found. --The employee will maintain a neat and tidy work area as established in local 5S standards.
