Looking to rehome my Ancistrus bristlenose plecco breeding set up.
I started breeding them accidentally, but they're actually a great way to supplement the fish keeping hobby as I've been getting $3/ea in store credit at a local pet store and usually bring in 30-80 every month or two depending on how many they need. I don't really have the time anymore to keep up with regular drop offs, so it feels like the right time to pass it on.
It's hard to know how many there are, but including the tiny fry I'd figure a couple hundred since my taking 80 out to drop off hardly seems to bring the numbers down. They are VERY good parents - zero effort required to breed these guys, and the mature males are pretty adorable with their whiskery faces. They top out at 4 or 5" so they're much much more manageable than common plecos which grow up to two feet. There are also two very fat and happy (though skittish) Siamese algae eaters in the tank that I got to control some hair algae a couple years ago and a few mystery snails.
They'd all come in a nice 46 gallon bow front tank with lid, stand, light fixture, API Filstar XP-M (2 available) or an XP-L, Inkbird heater controller w/Aqueon heater, Air stone/air pump, sponge filter, power strip, gravel, decor and a ton of java ferns, a bag of argonite sand for the tank and one for the filter (if your kH isn't awesome and you need something to stabilize it) and some food.
I am NOT interested in selling the fish individually. Ideally want one person to take it all, moving the tank with some water left in it for the sake of the tiny fry that I won't be able to net for transport. Within 30-45 mins of Milton preferable.
Thanks!
