Johnson county Refuse is a private hauling company located in North Liberty, Iowa. We have two mechanic positions open and route positions open as well. Our fleet has all automatic trucks and is well maintained & updated. -Experience with freightliner & international trucks -pay depends on experience -Overtime opportunities -Class B CDL -Competitive pay in the diesel mechanic industry ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel trucks. - Also service light service equipment and light trucks. - Typical repairs include but are not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, electrical, and emission systems. - Perform preventative maintenance. - Able to follow written and verbal instructions. - Adaptable to changing work environments, competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. -Benefits, retirement plans & PTO are available.
