Press release from the Newton South High School PTSO: March 20, 2021 Congratulations to our athletes and partners that participated in the winter Unified Strength and Conditioning pilot team! The Lions finished 2nd out of 8 teams in the state and received the silver medal by scoring 308 points, just 5 away from gold. Coaches Alex Strongin and Brian DeLesky supported by Wendy Armagost, helped our students to stay connected with their athletic community by enjoying physical activities in a competitive manner during the winter season.
