Park Owner seeks a handyman for full time position both rehabbing distressed mobile homes to be safe, functional, and weather tight, and general maintenance of existing rentals. We are looking for an individual, not a company/crew. We expect production, so no slackers. The term "handyman" is just a word; all qualified people are welcome to apply.
Applicant must:
*** Be familiar with all aspects of construction: framing, roofing, plumbing, electrical, sheet rock, windows and doors, flooring, etc.
*** Be able to plan repair work, schedule and budget time frames needed for work.
*** Be able to work alone and with others efficiently.
*** Be a motivated self starter.
*** Be able to keep a work log and receipts for expenses.
The Ideal Candidate also
*** Has his own transportation and tools
*** Be willing to live in the Park
*** Speaks Spanish
We offer regular, steady, full time employment. You get to spend your time working/earning rather than looking for the next job. We provide all materials and supplies, you will have no out of pocket expenses. Pay is determined by production, efficiency, and tools available. Pay is weekly, in full, in cash. Bonuses paid for exceptional work. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
