Sunshine and Moonshine: brother and sister kitties seeking home

Sunshine and Moonshine are brother and sister. They were raised by their mother (who was feral) and rescued from a tree as small kittens from a friends garden after dogs took the lives of their litter mates. Sunshine (the male brother) has golden markings like the sun. Moonshine (his smaller female sister) is named for her colors like the moon. They are bonded as a pair, with energy like yin and yang. We brought them home as small babies, and taught them how to trust humans. They are now 4 years old. They have lived successfully as outdoor domestic cats, sharing a home with our large malamute dog, other cats and our son as a toddler. They are both very sweet. They choose to spend alot of time outdoors but also enjoy coming into the house for snuggles and warm naps. They are spayed and nuetured. They prefer to potty in privacy outdoors but will use a cat box if presented with the option. Our son has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor, and we are traveling alot for medical treatment. Sunshine and Moonshine deserve a good home, with people who love cats, and are able to give them the attention and security we are unable to provide during this crisis.
