Established Houston civil construction company seeks experienced Asphalt Layers. Majority of work is done on Eastside in plants so prefer candidates who live in East Houston, Channelview, Deer Park, Baytown, etc. Responsible for operating small asphalt paving equipment and labor duties, including, but not limited to raking, shoveling, flagging. The positions will be part of a crew that is responsible for various size asphalt and civil construction projects. Requirements: • Must have valid TWIC Card & Texas Driver’s License – No exceptions • Asphalt, road construction or paving labor experience • Be willing and able to work a shovel and do outdoor work • Physically fit and able to work in extreme heat • Must be able to pass EXTENSIVE criminal background check (DISA Level 1) • Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test • Must have reliable transportation and be able to show up to work on time each day.
