NORTH WEST HOUSTON MANUFACTURER LOOKING FOR OVEN ATTENDANTS!! TEMP TO HIRE $14.00/HR 630A-300P OVERTIME AS NEEDED POSITION REQUIREMENTS • Ensure powder-coating specifications on product are met including thickness, uniformity of application and coverage, and finish quality. • Safely and properly operate industrial powder-coating ovens following strict processing specifications. • Performs set-ups of ovens including a selection of speeds and feeds, complete adjustments and corrections as need to maintain adequate flow of product through ovens. • Reads and analyzes production work orders. • Follows proper safety procedures as well as strictly adheres to all documented procedures around the processing of parts. • Achieve a work pace consistent with established goals and product flow. • Lift objects up to 55 lbs, push and/or pull carts carrying product into pre-heated ovens – utilizing co-worker assistance where required by work instructions. BILINGUAL OR SPANISH SPEAKING ONLY PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • High School Diploma, general education degree (GED), preferred • Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience (Oven Attendant) in a manufacturing environment • A work experience record demonstrating reliable and safe service to previous employers • Ideal candidate for this job is mechanically inclined with the ability to focus and execute in a manufacturing shop environment. Safety and efficiency are key work habits required to be successful. Ability to think critically about cause / effect relationship during set-ups and diagnosing quality issues quickly is necessary for success. Candidate is ideally someone with machine operating skills.
