Gallop To Greatness, a 501c3 nonprofit who's mission is to promote positive growth and development through the unique partnership with horses for youth through adult is offering the following upcoming programs! Visit:GallopToGreatness.org MAY HORSEMANSHIP & RIDING: Horses, Kids & Fun! 20 class hours 5 Saturday classes in May ; (May 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29) ……….9 am to 1 pm …….ages 8-14….$450. Kids ride each day and learn everything from approaching the horse, safe handling, interpreting a horse’s body language as well as learning to gauge their own nonverbal communication and personal energy levels; how to prepare a horse for riding as well as how to provide care for after the ride; and many more aspects of proper care and management of horses. This camp gives participants the feeling of what it would be like to have a horse of their own. This class offers the most in horseback riding / mounted activities. *JUNE CHARACTER BUILDING / RIDING: 12 class hours 4 Saturdays (June 5, 12, 19 & 26)…9am to 12pm... ages 7-15 …..$350. This program has the most versatile curriculum as it incorporates all of our programs and is determined by student interest & experience. We have many students who love our programs and wish to participate in more than one class, therefore we adjust the curriculum to meet the individual interest of our students WITHOUT repeating previous activities. Students will participate in daily horse care, games, and riding activities. Other activities may include reading, writing, equine assisted learning activities, Arts & crafts, team-building challenges, etc. all created to be fun, confidence boosting and self-empowerment experiences. We believe in fostering positive growth & development for the “whole child”, not just the equestrian, or the academic in your child. **Above programs require a 50% deposit with registration. Balance due 1 week prior to start date
