Maintenance Position Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform various tasks such as repairs, preventative maintenance, and general grounds cleaning. You will be responsible for commercial and residential properties applying basic fixes to equipment, building systems, domestic households ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Responsibilities • Conducting routine inspections of premises and mechanical room equipment. • Performing preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and common spaces to include repairing siding, doors, trim, minor stone repairs, etc. • Handling basic repairs and maintenance in commercial and domestic household settings. Must be proficient with drywall repairs, texture, and painting. It will also include light electrical, plumbing, and framing. • Winter responsibilities would include shoveling, spreading ice melt, chipping ice, refilling ice melt buckets, etc. • Summer responsibilities include garden/yard upkeep by mowing small lawn, weed whacking native grasses near buildings, etc. • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and or photosensors. Must be willing to work on a ladder. • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., boilers, hot water tanks, irrigation systems, etc.) • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary. • Report to maintenance manager with issues Requirements • Proven experience with other similar position • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. • Experience using hand and electrical tools. • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings. • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and comfortable communicating with owners, guests, and tenants. • Physical stamina and dexterity • High school diploma or equivalent Respond to this Job posting with email and resume or text to set up an Interview.
