Position Summary: Evaluate, exam and inspect containers, material and product to ensure that the product and the packing comply with the company and client requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: includes the following. - Has to follow and comply with all Company GMPs, Safety and any other requirements. - Fill Quality documents, quality, type, size etc. Write down test results and material value of the product with the purpose to maintain files, shipping registry, reception and production. - Check the product visually, touch, smell, and taste to locate the imperfections, verified the dimension, texture, color, strength, and/or other physical characteristics. - Separated the good product by size and color. - Exam the receiving product before is send to production line or to specified customers. - Test samples taken from the lines for process. - Calibrated equipment like: thermometers, scales, refractometers, etc.. - Calculate defect percentage and or other statistics; prepare the inspection and test of information thru forms. - Conduct routine analysis and non routine on process materials and fruit. - Supervise the test methods to ensure that all test are done according to specifications already establish; test standards methods or protocols. - Be aware of all receiving and finished product being packed. - Collect or prepare identification labels and attach to product. - Use software to generate tag if and only if the pallet is being completed. - Take an accurate count of packaged product and enter totals in computer system. Check for tag accuracy. - Ability to work in cold and wet condition. - Keep work area clean and orderly. - Other duties as requires and assigned. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Job Type: Full-time
