Landscaper Duties and Responsibilities
• Mowing, string trimming and hedge trimming.
• Treat lawn and landscaping with pesticides to remove harmful insects.
• Maintain the existing landscaping design by pulling weeds and the use of herbicide.
• Plant new flowers, bushes, trees, and decorative shrubs.
• Rake fallen leaves and remove debris.
• Edge and install mulch beds.
• Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, and other company property.
• Oversee daily maintenance to company equipment and vehicles.
Landscaper Requirements and Qualifications
• High school degree or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Must know how to operate lawn maintenance equipment, including walk-behind lawnmowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must have ability to drive truck with trailer.
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam.
