His most recent book released worldwide on January 5 entilted R.E.V.E.A.L. “ The Year Without My Dad’’. R.E.V.E.A.L. is an open anthology that expresses the pain, and vulnerability that he went through after the year his father passed. Donvinnie opens up about his struggles with mental health, alcohol abuse, depression, and suicide. With his back ground being in fashion Donvinnie opens up about the mask he wore everyday to conceal his pain. Prior to his book Donvinnie stepped away from the industry in 2014 after his father was injured in a horse ridding incident. During this time Donvinnie focused on his family and friends as wells began his journey of self healing and soul searching. Through this process Donvinnie began to meditate as well as focus on his overall health and well being. Donvinnie then adopted the I Am Method .
