Description
I grew up watching war movies and westerns where the brave died peacefully and painlessly and the wounded recovered in days, minus the one guy that lost a leg who goes on the become a famous war hero with a percentage in war bonds.
I have known a few 'boys' who went off to war, or were drafted, and then sent off to war. Not one of them claimed that the experience was anything like them old movies. They had the constant movie of their war experiences constantly playing in their heads to prove it.
Man, did I here some stories. I knew a biker dude who claimed killing, raping and pillaging wasn't just some bad thing in some horrible old movie. I don't think he was being fictional in the scenes he related.
