LOS ANGELES, CA — A former legislative employee has filed a complaint against Sen. Bob Archuleta and the state Senate, The Sacramento Bee reported. A woman said that she was subjected to sexual harassment and workplace retaliation after she refused romantic advances from Archuleta.
The complaint details comments made by the senator about her breasts and affairs he had with others. The suit outlines instances in which she says he publicly embarrassed or reprimanded her, the newspaper reported.

The woman, who was referred to as "Jane Doe" in court documents, alleges that she was forced to resign due to an "intolerable working environment," the Sacramento Bee reported.
After she complained about the instances of sexual harassment to a superior, she said she experienced retaliation. The suit was filed Thursday in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
