I am a Registered Nurse who has 9+ years of childcare experience. I have worked with children of all ages (infants-school age). Prior to becoming a nurse I worked in a childcare facility. I have experience as a lead teacher developing lesson plans and art projects for children. I am currently enrolling 2-3 children. I intend to work with any age group and to provide educational services. I do not want to be just a "babysitter". We will develop lesson plans and make an effort for children to explore and learn. After working as a nurse this last year I found myself missing the bond that is formed with children and families. I would like to mold my care similar to a childcare facility but in a more comfortable and flexible setting. I have a colleague that would like to work with me in this setting that has many years experience as well. She also has an Associates in Early Childhood Education. We will provide a morning and afternoon snack as well as lunch. For infants we will provide some jar food and small snacks. Fees: Fulltime: $240/wk Part time: (3 days a wk) $150/wk We will offer a discount for siblings and will consider drop-in options. We are also able to take children for just summer time as well.
