Position Details We have a Full-Time opening for Janitorial Services Technician to provide a flexible range of professional cleaning services for our housing and office buildings located throughout the Jackson County area. If you have experience working in direct contact with the Severe and Persistent Mental Illness population or in a memory care unit at an Assisted Living Facility, then this position might be a good fit for you. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (Day) This position will perform cleaning services inside/outside on property owned/leased by ColumbiaCare Services. Duties will include thorough cleaning services on a regular basis, to include, but not be limited to, sweeping, mopping and polishing floors; dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms (toilets, sinks and showers), cleaning light fixtures, windows and mirrors; cleaning kitchen which includes commercial grade appliances; laundry responsibilities; gathering and removal of trash and recycling. In addition, you will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Two years of verifiable janitorial work experience is PREFERRED Ability to use household hand and power tools and operate industrial floor polisher Proper use of cleaning chemicals, supplies and various equipment Effective communication and organizational skills Good time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines Ability to work independently with little supervision Must perform all work tasks in a proper and safe manner per established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Physical Requirements include: lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds regularly; bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and reaching; climbing stairs and use of ladders; frequent use of fingers and arms; and standing and walking for long periods of time. Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. Pay & Benefits Starting at $16.00 per hour/DOE.
